If my life were a long walk down a river, I could look over my shoulder and see a string of stepping stones rising up out of the water, stretching back to the headwaters. Some are large boulders that I rested on for a time, others small rocks that nonetheless gave me vital foothold on the journey downstream. All of them leading me to the point at which I now stand.

I've just returned from holding space for thirteen courageous people who walked solo into the bush at first light one morning carrying not much more than water and a sleeping bag, to sit in a small circle, fasting, praying and dancing for four days and four nights. 

'Rewilding' is an invitation for us to inhabit our bodies, and this ancient continent, without apology; to sink our roots deep into the red dirt and the rainforests, healing ourselves as we heal the land.
