Free Nature-Based Leadership
Community Day
Sunday December 7th | 10am - 3:30pm
Pound Bend Reserve, Warrandyte
Free gathering | All welcome
Come gather by the Birrarung River for a day of nature connection, community, and creative play.
Whether you’re a past participant of the Nature-Based Leadership Training (NBLT) or simply curious about the program, this is your invitation to gather and connect!
We’ll spend the day tending to our connections and weaving the threads of our practice, slowing down, tuning in, learning through nature and remembering what it means to belong to the land and to each other.
Expect a relaxed and an opt in hands-on day with:
🌿 Nature-based skills & games ~ weaving, tracking, bird language, bushcraft.
💧 Time by the river ~ swim, sit spot, chillin' or simple reflection
🔥 Community connection ~ shared stories, laughter and good company
This is a beautiful opportunity to reconnect with alumni, meet facilitators and friends of NBLT, and get a taste of the year-long journey in a light, experiential way.
Bring a picnic lunch, a thermos of tea and your curiosity, picnic rugs and all you need to be comfy!
Facilitators and alumni will offer small group sessions throughout the day, you’re welcome to join in or simply be.
Who’s it for:
~Everyone!
~NBLT alumni who’d love to reconnect and offer something back
~Anyone curious about the Nature-Based Leadership Training and would like mingle and connect.
~Friends, family, and community members who love time outdoors.
Let’s gather under the gums, learn from the land, and celebrate the web of connection that continues to grow through this work.
